New Haven, CT (6/19/12) Dominican College President Sister Mary Eileen O'Brien recently completed a three-year stint as the chair of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's (CACC) Presidents Council.

Sister Mary Eileen served as the Presidents Council Chair from 2009-2012. She was honored for her contributions to the CACC at the June 19th meeting of the council.

"Sister Mary Eileen O'Brien provided tremendous vision and insight during her tenure as the Chair of the President's Council," Commissioner Dan Mara stated. "Her term brought a new level of commitment to the mission of the conference."

O'Brien's successor is Georgian Court University President Rosemary E. Jeffries, who has led GCU since July 1, 2001. Sister Rosemary started a two-year term at the June meeting.
