2022 CHI ALPHA SIGMA CLASS REVEALED
Orangeburg, N.Y. (6/13/22) Dominican University New York welcomes its 12th class to its chapter of the National College Athlete Honor Society (NCAHS), Chi Alpha Sigma. Dominican instituted the New York Sigma chapter of NCAHS in 2011.
Orangeburg, N.Y. (6/13/22) Dominican University New York welcomes its 12th class to its chapter of the National College Athlete Honor Society (NCAHS), Chi Alpha Sigma. Dominican instituted the New York Sigma chapter of NCAHS in 2011.
To be inducted into NCAHS, candidates must be at least a junior academically and have participated in a varsity intercollegiate sport at an NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA, or USCAA institution. Inductees must carry a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average, be in good standing with their team, be recommended by the chapter advisor, and be of good moral character. Transfers must have served one full year at their current institution and graduate students are not eligible.
Faculty Athletics Representative Jim Crawley is in his 12th year as Dominican's chapter advisor. Crawley certified 17 Charger student-athletes for membership across 13 sports.
