Orangeburg, NY (4/13/12) The Dominican College baseball team downed the visiting Cougars of Caldwell College, 19-3, this afternoon in non-conference action played at Veteran's Memorial Park. Following the win, Dominican improves to 13-20 overall, while Caldwell falls to 9-19 on the season.

Rightfielder Tyler Sadawske (Waukesha, WI) went 5-6 with four runs scored and two RBIs.
Freshman Oliver Christensen (Coral Springs, FL) collected three hits on the day with three RBIs and three runs scored.
As a team the Chargers pounded out 19 runs on 17 hits.
Dominican had a six-run second inning as Tony Blake (Windsor, CT) highlighted the inning with a two-run triple to left field.
DC added three runs in the third inning, four runs in the fifth and one in the eighth inning en route to the victory.
Sophomore left-handed pitcher Jordan Paszek (Sussex, WI) improved to 1-1 on the season after going seven innings, scattering just three hits and striking out 11 batters.
Dominican returns to action tomorrow as they travel to Caldwell College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.
