CAMARDELLA, BLAKE AND CHRISTENSEN EARN ALL-CACC ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, NY (5/9/12) Dominican College baseball players, Andrew Camardella, Tony Blake and Oliver Christensen have earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) accolades as was announced yesterday by the conference office. In balloting done by the league's 11 head coaches, Camardella was named to the First Team, while Blake and Christense received Second Team honors.

In balloting done by the league's 11 head coaches, Camardella was named to the First Team, while Blake and Christensen received Second Team honors.
Camardella, a junior first basemen from Pelham, NY currently leads team in hits, batting average, doubles, slugging percentage and on-base percentage. He is second on team in RBIs and third in hits. Camardella ranks eighth in CACC in batting average, while leading the CACC in doubles and ranks in the top ten in the nation in doubles per game. Last season he was named to the All-CACC Second Team.
Blake, a junior outfielder from Windsor, CT, earns his second straight Second Team honors this season. He leads team in runs scored, home runs and RBIs. Blake also ranks second on team in batting average, hits, doubles, slugging percentage and on-base percentage.
Christensen, a freshman infielder from Coral Springs, FL, currently has a .260 batting average in 50 games played. He has tallied 52 hits, 37 runs and 19 RBIs on the season. He also uses his speed on the base paths, swiping 15 bases in 16 attempts.
