The Warriors struck first with two runs in the first stanza and added three more in the third for a 5-0 lead. DC got on the board in the fourth on the RBI double from senior first basemen Andrew Camardella (Pelham, N.Y.) to make the score 5-1. NC regained the five run lead with a run in the fifth.
Dominican added two runs in the seventh on a Warrior error and an RBI single from Nick Delgado (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) to cut the deficit to 6-3.
