2013 ALL-CACC BASEBALL TEAM ANNOUNCED
Orangeburg, N.Y. (5/8/13) The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced the 2013 All-CACC Baseball Teams following a vote of the league's 11 head coaches. The announcement was made this evening at the annual awards banquet. Seven members of the Dominican College baseball team were elected to one of the two All-CACC Teams.

The announcement was made this evening at the annual awards banquet. Seven members of the Dominican College baseball team were elected to one of the two All-CACC Teams.
Tony Blake, Dylan Ebel and Peter Martinez were all selected to the All-CACC First Team, while Tyler Clark, Andrew Camardella, Oliver Christensen and Carlos Lopez earned Second Team accolades.
Blake, a senior outfielder from Windsor, Conn., makes his first appearance on the First Team after receiving second team honors in 2012 and 2010. This season he leads CACC in triples and walks, ranks third in runs scored, 4th in conference in RBIs and 7th in stolen bases.
Ebel, a freshman second basemen from Coral Springs, Fla. ranks third in the CACC in triples, ninth in runs scored and stolen bases, 15th in runs batted in and walks,10th in on-base percentage and 19th in slugging percentage.
Martinez, a sophomore right-handed pitcher from White Plains, N.Y., is tied for third in CACC and leads the team in wins, second in conference in complete games, sixth in ERA eighth in innings pitched and 11th in strikeouts. This is his first All-CACC honors.
Clark, a junior catcher who hails from Cheshire, Conn., also earns his first all-conference selection as he ranks in the top 25 in CACC in batting, is tied for 3rd in home runs, fourth in slugging percentage, ranks 9th in triples and 14th in stolen bases.
Camardella, a senior first basemen from Pelham, N.Y., earns his second All-CACC Second Team honors and is a three time All-CACC selection. He currently ranks 2nd in CACC in runs scored, 7th in on-base percentage, 9th in runs batted in, 11th in hits and 15th in batting average.
Christensen, a sophomore utility player from Coral Springs, Fla., is also making his second straight All-CACC Second Team appearance in 2013. He ranks 12th in CACC in hits and batting average, 14th in stolen bases and 18th in runs batted in. He is also second on the team in batting average.
Lopez, a freshman designated player/pitcher from Miami, Fla., leads team in batting average and ranks 8th in the CACC, is 6th in doubles and saves, 8th in hits, 11th in runs scored and on-base percentage and 12th in slugging percentage.
