CHARGERS LOSE TO #19 LYNN UNIVERSITY
Boca Raton, Fla. (3/5/14) The Dominican College baseball team fell to 1-3 on the season after losing to #19 Lynn University, 10-5, this afternoon in a non-conference game played at the Lynn Baseball Field.

Boca Raton, Fla. (3/5/14) The Dominican College baseball team fell to 1-3 on the season after losing to #19 Lynn University, 10-5, this afternoon in a non-conference game played at the Lynn Baseball Field.
Lynn scored in the first three innings to go ahead 5-0, before DC put a run on the board in the top of the fourth on the RBI single off the bat of designated hitter Leonardo Bravo (Bronx, N.Y.) to make the score 5-1.
LU got the run back in the bottom stanza, but the Chargers recorded four runs in the fifth on RBI hits from Riley Strickland (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Bravo. Two other runs scored on errors to make the score 6-5. Lynn added two runs in the sixth and two in the eighth for the final 10-5 score.
Bravo went 2-4 with 2 RBIs in the game.
Jordan Paszek (Sussex, Wis.) suffered the loss (0-1) in four innings of work, allowing six runs (four earned) on 10 hits.
Joseph DeLaCruz (Wall Township, N.J.) and Andrew Denis (Miramar, Fla.) pitched two innings each.
The Chargers will take on St. Thomas University tomorrow.
