PACE SHUTS OUT BASEBALL
Cary, N.C. (3/18/16) The Pace University baseball team shut out Dominican College, 11-0, this evening in a non-conference game played at the USA Baseball National Training Center.

Cary, N.C. (3/18/16) The Pace University baseball team shut out Dominican College, 11-0, this evening in a non-conference game played at the USA Baseball National Training Center.
The Setter pitching limited the Chargers to just two hits in the game.
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Rookie of the Week, Anthony Bartolomei (Oakhurst, N.J.) had the first hit of the game for Dominican in the bottom of the second inning with a single to right field.
Designated hitter Jayson Gray (New Rochelle, N.Y.) had the other hit in the third inning with a double to center field.
Anthony Hunter (Palm City, Fla.) took the loss (0-3) in 4 2/3 innings of work, allowing seven runs (two earned) on four hits and four strikeouts.
With the loss, Dominican now stands at 5-7 on the season.
Dominican returns to action tomorrow as they take on Franklin Pierce University.
