(5/5/17) Sophomore Justin Decker (Rotteram, N.Y.) of the Dominican College baseball team was named First Team College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® as was announced yesterday. The program recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (5/5/17)  Sophomore Justin Decker (Rotteram, N.Y.) of the Dominican College baseball team was named First Team College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® as was announced yesterday.  The program recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Decker currently leads the team and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in hitting and ranks second in hits, fourth in on-base percentage, eighth in double and ninth in runs batted in.

He also boasts a 3.76 grade-point average.  This his is first CoSIDA Academic All-District® accolades.

First-team Academic All-District®  honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America® honorees will be selected later this month.
