DOMINICAN'S DECKER EARNS HONORABLE-MENTION NCBWA ALL-AMERICAN HONORS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/5/18) Dominican College baseball player, Justin Decker (Rotterdam, N.Y.) was recently named Honorable-Mention National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-American, as announced by the organization.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/5/18) Dominican College baseball player, Justin Decker (Rotterdam, N.Y.) was recently named Honorable-Mention National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-American, as announced by the organization.

Decker was named a First-Team All-CACC performer at second base last season, as he helped guide the Chargers to the league championship and a spot in the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament. He knocked in four runs in the championship final to lift Dominican to the CACC crown over Chestnut Hill College. Decker led the CACC with a .382 batting average last season. He was also recently named to the NCBWA Preseason All-East Region First Team.

He is one of a trio of players from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to receive the accolades as Sean Deely (Wilmington University) and Jason Polgano (Felician University) were also named Honorable-Mention Preseason All-Americans
