BASEBALL TAKES TWINBILL FROM DEVILS

(4/29/18) The Dominican College baseball team swept a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) double-header from the visiting Devils from the University of the Sciences in games played this afternoon at Palisades Credit Union Park. Dominican won the first game, 18-6 and took the nightcap, 10-4.

(4/29/18) The Dominican College baseball team swept a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) double-header from the visiting Devils from the University of the Sciences in games played this afternoon at Palisades Credit Union Park. Dominican won the first game, 18-6 and took the nightcap, 10-4.
With the sweep, Dominican improves to 16-29 overall and 14-14 in CACC play.
Game One: The Chargers used a six-run first inning to lead them to a 16-8 win in the opener.
Senior shortstop Joseph Libio (Tamarac, Fla.) delievered three hits, scored three runs and had two RBIs.
Joshua Colon (Bronx, N.Y.) tallied two hits and two runs.
Joseph Rotelli (Morganville, N.J.), Elijah Tavarez (Valley Stream, N.Y.) and Brett Karcher-Bowen (Cypress, Texas) recorded two RBIs each in the victory.
Senior Kraigen Rasalla (Scranton, Pa.) improved to 1-1 on the season in five innings of work and recording six strikeouts.
Game Two: The DC bats were once again active in the second game as they jumped out to an 8-0 lead after two innings and extended it to 10-0 after four innings en route to the 10-4 win.
Junior second basemen Justin Decker (Rotterdam, N.Y.) went 4-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.
Colin Pasone (Wiles-Barre, Pa.) added two hits, while Rotelli and Tavarez each scored two runs.
Senior Corey Pic (Montvale, N.J.) went six innings to pick up the win and improve to 2-3 on the season.
The Chargers are scheduled to travel to Wilmington University for a conference double-header tomorrow morning.
