COLON TABBED 2020 NCBWA PRESEASON ALL-EAST REGION

Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/21/20) Dominican College senior shortstop, Joshua Colon (Bronx, N.Y.) has been named to the 2020 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-East Region Second Team as was recently announced by the committee.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/21/20) Dominican College senior shortstop, Joshua Colon (Bronx, N.Y.) has been named to the 2020 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason All-East Region Second Team as was recently announced by the committee.

Colon had an outstanding junior campaign as he was named to the 2019 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-America Third Team, the All-CACC Second Team, he D2CCA All-East Region Second Team and to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II East All-Region First Team.

The team also made an appearance in the Preseason East Region Poll as they were ranked ninth. DC finished the season with an overall record of 29-25 and reached the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Championship game.

Dominican is slated to open the season today down in Myrtle Beach, S.C. where they will face Franklin Pierce University.
