Orangeburg, N.Y. (5/19/22) Dominican University New York baseball player, Richard Paulino, has been named to the 2022 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-East Region First Team as was announced today.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (5/19/22) Dominican University New York baseball player, Richard Paulino, has been named to the 2022 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-East Region First Team as was announced today.

This makes the third post season award for Paulino as he was previoulsy named to the All-CACC First Team and the D2CCA All-East Region First Team.

Paulino is one of six players from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to be named to the First Team and one of 10 players overall from the conference to earn All-Region honors.

Paulino, a senior from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, led the team in hits, dougles, home runs, runs batted in, batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.  Paulino led the CACC in hits, sat second in runs batted in, was third in doubles and home runs, fourth in batting average, sixth in slugging percentage, eighth in on-base percentage and was tenth in runs scored.
