(2/2/23) Felician University and Wilmington University were tabbed first in their respective divisions in the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced on Tuesday by Commissioner Dan Mara. Felician was first in the North with 56 points and eight first-place votes, while defending champion WilmU was tops in the South with 50 points and 10 first-place nods. The voting for the preseason poll was conducted by the league's 11 head coaches in the sport.

New Haven, Conn. (2/2/23) Felician University and Wilmington University were tabbed first in their respective divisions in the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced on Tuesday by Commissioner Dan Mara. Felician was first in the North with 56 points and eight first-place votes, while defending champion WilmU was tops in the South with 50 points and 10 first-place nods. The voting for the preseason poll was conducted by the league's 11 head coaches in the sport.

Dominican University New York has been selected third in the CACC North Division.

Post University, which forced the "if necessary" game in last spring's conference championship, was second in the North Division with 51 points and three first-place tallies. Dominican University, which claimed the 2021 CACC Baseball title, was third in the division with 37 points.

Thomas Jefferson University was second in the South with 41 points and a first-place vote. The Rams reached the double-elimination portion of the 2022 CACC Championship. Goldey-Beacom College was third with 31 points.

Wilmington claimed the CACC Championship last season following a win over the Eagles in the "if necessary" game of the finals, and ultimately hosted a sub-regional in the 2022 NCAA Division II East Region Tournament. Felician also advanced to the double-elimination bracket last spring in the CACC tournament.

The 2023 CACC Baseball season throws out the first pitch on Friday, Feb. 10, as Post is in action versus Saint Anselm. The regular season will be a buildup to the conference post-season tournament from May 6-13. The best-of-three first-round series will be conducted at the sites of the highest seeds on May 6-7, while the double-elmination tournament will be held from May 11-13, at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury, Conn. The top-three teams from each division will qualify for the CACC post-season event.
