GOLF IN FIFTH PLACE AFTER ROUND ONE OF FPU INVITATIONAL
Keene, N.H. (9/10/17) The Dominican College golf team is in fifth place after round one of the FPU Invitational, hosted by Franklin Pierce University at Bretwood Golf Course. The team compiled a first round score of 311 en route to the 5th place day one finish.

Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) was the top finisher for the Chargers on day one of the par 72 course with a round of 74 (+2) to be in a tie for fifth place.
Sophomore Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) is in a tie for 15th place with a score of 78 (+6) and Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) is in a tie for 23rd place with a first round score of 79 (+7).
Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) had a first round score of 80 (+8) to be tied for 29th place and Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) is tied for 42nd place with a score of 83 (+11).
Dominican also sent five players as indiviuals for the tournament. Sophomore Jayce Robinson (Sparks, Nev.) also shot a 78 (+6) to be tied for 15th place.
Freshman Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) is tied for 29th place with an 80 (+8) and Arthur Albero (Staten Island, N.Y.) shot an 81 (+9) to be tied for 34th place. Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) is tied for 48th place with a first round score of 85 (+13), while Jacob DeMoura (Orlando, Fla.) had a first round score of 86 (+14) to be tied for 51st place.
The Chargers will return to the links tomorrow in the final round of the FPU Invitational.
