CHARGERS FINISHED TIED FOR FOURTH PLACE AT FPU INVITATIONAL
Keene, N.H. (9/11/17) The Dominican College men's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place in the final round of the FPU Invitational, hosted by Franklin Pierce University at the Keene Country Club.

The Chargers compiled a team score of 310, besting their day one total of 311, to finish with a two-day total of 621. Southern New Hampshire University took home the team title with a score of 594, followed by Franklin Pierce University (598) and St. Thomas Aquinas College (617). Assumption College finished in a tie with Dominican to round out the top five.
Sophomore Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico shot a 76 today to finish with a combined score of 150 (+6) and tie for seventh place.
Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) shot rounds of 78 and 78 for a total 156 (+12) score and tie for 15th place. Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) tied for 21st place with a two-day total of 158 (+14).
Sophomore Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) compiled scores of 79 and 80 for a total 159 (+15) and finished in a tie for 24th place. Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) tied for 32nd place with rounds of 83 and 78 for a 161 (+17) total score.
DC also sent five players as individuals to the tournament. Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) tied for 36th place with a two-day total of 163 (80, 83), while Jayce Robinson (Sparks, Nev.) tied for 40th place with rounds of 78 and 86 for a total 164 score.
Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) compiled a two-day total of 165 (85, 80) to tie for 44th place and Jacob DeMoura (Orlando, Fla.) tied for 46th place with rounds of 86 and 80 for a 166 total score. Arthur Albero (Staten Island, N.Y.) tied for 49th place with rounds of 81 and 88 for a total score of 169.
Dominican will travel to the Division II Penmen Invitational next Monday and Tuesday.
