DOMINICAN AND LEE WIN 10TH ANNUAL CHARGER CHALLENGE
Suffern, N.Y. (9/24/17) The Dominican College golf team shot a day two total of 283 to finish the tournament with a 585 combined score to win the team title at the 10th Annual Charger Challenge, hosted by Dominican College, at Spook Rock Golf Course. In addition, junior Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) finished two shots under par today for a 70 score and two-day total of 142 to win the individual medal.

(9/24/17) The Dominican College golf team shot a day two total of 283 to finish the tournament with a 585 combined score to win the team title at the 10th Annual Charger Challenge, hosted by Dominican College, at Spook Rock Golf Course. In addition, junior Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) finished two shots under par today for a 70 score and two-day total of 142 to win the individual medal.
The team improved by 19 strokes on the day-two score, following a 302 opening day round.
Sophomore Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) had a second-day score of 70 to finish with a two-day score of 143 and place as the runner-up for the tournament.
Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) tied for fifth place overall with a combined score of 149 (77,72), while Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) finished in 12th place with rounds of 81 and 71 for a total 152 score.
Junior Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) tied for 17th place with scores of 80 and 74 for a 154 total score.
Dominican also had six players play as individuals in the tournament with Jacob DeMoura (Orlando, Fla.) and Jayce Robinson (Sparks, Nev.) tying for 13th place with a 153 total score. DeMoura had rounds of 78 and 75, while Robinson shot a 75 and 78.
Arthur Albero (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Juan David Fajardo (Bogota, Colombia) both tied for 17th place with a 154 combined score. Albero had rounds of 79 and 75 and Fajardo finished with rounds of 72 and 82.
Freshman Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) scored rounds of 80 and 78 for a 158 combined score to tie for 26th place, while Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) had a 161 total score (79,82) to tie for 29th place.
The Chargers will travel to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships this coming Sunday and Monday at the Back Creek Golf Club and hosted by Wilmington University.
