MEN'S GOLF SHARES TEAM TITLE AT ST. THOMAS AQUINAS SPRING INVITATIONAL

(4/9/18) The Dominican College men's golf team shared the team title with Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member, Concordia College at the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invitational held this past Saturday and Sunday at the Rum Pointe Golf Course. Both teams finished the two-day tournament with a 597 (+21).

(4/9/18) The Dominican College men's golf team shared the team title with Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member, Concordia College at the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invitational held this past Saturday and Sunday at the Rum Pointe Golf Course. Both teams finished the two-day tournament with a 597 (+21).
Dominican shot a 295 (+7) during the first round and followed with a 302 (+14) at the par 72 course that saw 12 teams compete. Fellow CACC member Wilmington University rounded out the top three spots with a 601 (+25) total score.
Junior Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) fiished in a tie for sixth place with rounds of 74 (+2) and 73 (+1) to finish with a 147 (+3) total score. Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) who sat atop the standings following round one with the low tournament score of 68 (-4), followed with an 80 on day two to finish with a 148 (+4) total score.
Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) shot rounds of 74 (+2) and 77 (+5) to complete the tournament tied for 12th place with a 151 (+7) total score. Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) also finished with a 151 (+7) total score with rounds of 79 and 72 to share a tie for 12th place.
Freshman Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) tied for 35th place with rounds of 76 and 80 for a 156 (+12) total and Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) had a two-day total of 164 (+20) after shooting rounds of 83 and 81.
The Chargers will be back in action this coming Thursday and Friday when they travel to the Mike Bello Invite, hosted by Le Moyne College at the Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y.
