MEN'S GOLF LOOK TO DEFEND ATLANTIC/EAST SUPER REGIONAL TITLE

Indianapolis, Ind. (4/28/18) The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2018 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships on Friday evening.

(4/28/18) The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals that have been selected to participate in regional competition of the 2018 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships on Friday evening.

The Dominican College men's golf team will look to defend their NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional Championship from 2017 as the team will make their second consecutive Super Regional appearance.

The Super Regional is set to take place Monday, May 7th through Wednesday, May 9th at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W. Va.

Dominican was ranked 4th by the NCAA in the East Region and thus secured a spot in the Super Regionals. The top ten teams in each region will compete for a chance to qualify for the 2018 National Championship Tournament.

DC is one of four teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to qualify for the Super Regional as Wilmington University was ranked fifth, Concordia College is 9th and Post University is 10th. Southern New Hampshire University holds the top spot in the region.

The NCAA Division II National Championship will be held May 21st-25th at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at the Shoals, Fighting Joe Course in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
