CHARGERS GOLF TAKE THIRD AT PENMEN FALL INVITATIONAL

(9/18/18) The Dominican College men's golf team finished in third place today following the second round of the Penmen Fall Invitational hosted by Southern New Hampshire University at the Hanover Country Club. DC fired off a team score of 285 this afternoon to finish the two-day tournament with a final score of 581.

DC fired off a team score of 285 this afternoon to finish the two-day tournament with a final score of 581.
Laval University took home the team title with a score of 561, followed by Franklin Pierce University with a 579 and Dominican with a 581 to round out the top three teams.
Senior Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) was the top finisher for Dominican as he tied for ninth place with a final score of 143. After shooting a 74 on the first day, Wescott shot one under par on day two with a 69.
Teammate Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) also tied for ninth place with rounds of 71 and 72 for the 143 final score.
Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) shot a 69 on day two to finish with a 148 final score to tie for 26th place overall, while Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) tied for 36th place with rounds of 75 on both days.
Junior Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) shot a 76 and an 80 for a 156 total score to tie for 57th place.
The Chargers will travel to Jefferson next Monday to compete in a one-day match at the ACE Club.
