Guilderland, N.Y. (10/6/18) Senior Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) won the individual title at the College of Saint Rose Fall Shootout held yesterday and today at the Pinehaven Country Club.
Guilderland, N.Y. (10/6/18) Senior Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) won the individual title at the College of Saint Rose Fall Shootout held yesterday and today at the Pinehaven Country Club.
Wescott began day two in a tie for first place with a round of 72 (+1) and followed with a 73 (+2) this afternoon for a total 145 (+3) combined score to win the individual title.
As a team the Chargers finished with a two-day total of 621 (314, 307) to finish in fourth place behind Franklin Pierce (606), Roberts Wesleyan College (615) and Bentley (619).
Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) tied for 10th place overall with rounds of 76 and 77 for a total 153 (+11) score, playing as an individual.
Senior Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) tied for 13th place with a combined score of 154 (78, 76) and Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) finished with a combined score of 160 (83,77) to tie for 35th place.
Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) had rounds of 81 on both days for a 162 total score to tie for 40th place and Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) tied for 48th place with rounds of 84 and 81 for a 165 combined score.
Dominican returns to the links on October 22nd when they travel to the Miami Intercollegiate Tournament.
