DOMINICAN WINS DEVILS CLASSIC
Blue Bell, Pa. (3/29/19) The Dominican College golf team won the Devils Classic, hosted by the University of the Sciences, yesterday and today at the Bluestone Country Club.

The team compiled a two-day score of 624 (313, 311) to finish 21 strokes ahead of Chestnut Hill College to win the team title.
Senior Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) and Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) finished in a two-way tie for second place with two-day total score of 154. Parker shot rounds of 75 and 79, while Farmer shot an 80 and a 74.
Teammate Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) finished in fourth place with a score of 157 (77,80), while junior Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) took fifth place with a combined score of 159 (81, 78).
Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) rounded out the Charger scoring with a final score of 170 (90, 74).
Dominican also had a second team compete at the tournament where they finished in third place with a combined score of 701 (363, 338). Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) recorded rounds of 86 and 70 to finish with a 156 combined score and junior Arthur Albero (Staten Island, N.Y.) shot rounds of 86 and 82 for a 168 total score. Daniel Acosta Murguia (Torreon, Mexico) shot a 94 in both rounds for a 188 total score, while Jacob Bourquein (Milwaukie, Ore.) finished with a 189 (97, 92) combined score.
The Chargers are slated to return to action next weekend at the Long Island Invitational.
