DOMINICAN TAKES EIGHTH PLACE AT EAGLES INVITATIONAL
Watertown, Conn. (10/15/19) The Dominican College men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Eagles Invitational held yesterday and today at the Watertown Golf Club and hosted by Post University.
Watertown, Conn. (10/15/19) The Dominican College men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Eagles Invitational held yesterday and today at the Watertown Golf Club and hosted by Post University.
Dominican finished with a team score of 610, following rounds of 302 and 308, to finish in eighth place out of 15 teams in the tournament.
Senior Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) tied for seventh place overall with rounds of 72 and 75 to finish with a 147 total score.
Juan David Fajardo (Bogota, Columbia) tied for 14th place with scores of 73 and 76 for a 149 total score, while Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) tied for 38th place with a 156 (76,80) combined score.
Senior Arthur Albero (Staten Island, N.Y.) finished in a tie for 48th place after shooting rounds of 81 and 77 for a 158 total score.
Daniel Acosta Murguia (Torreon, Mexico) rounded out the team scoring with a 169 (81, 88) total score to tie for 80th place.
Playing as an individual Anthony Padilla (Nanuet, N.Y.) finished in 93rd place with rounds of 101 and 94 for a 195 total score.
The Chargers return to action on October 18 and 19 when they travel to the Le Moyne Fall Shootout to be played at the Lake Shore Yacht Club.
