CHARGERS TAKE THIRD PLACE AT SAINT ROSE FALL INVITATIONAL

Guilderland, N.Y. (10/8/22) The Dominican University New York men's golf team competed at the Saint Rose Fall Invitational held yesterday and today at Pinehaven Country Club and hosted by the College of Saint Rose.

Guilderland, N.Y. (10/8/22) The Dominican University New York men's golf team competed at the Saint Rose Fall Invitational held yesterday and today at Pinehaven Country Club and hosted by the College of Saint Rose.

Dominican finished in third place overall with rounds of 310 and 308 for a combined score of 618.

Alejandro Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) was the top finisher for Dominican as he tied for sixth place among the 40 golfers.  In round one, he shot a 73 (+2) and followed with a 78 in round two for a 151 total score.

Freshman Charles Thomas (Salt Lake City, Utah) shot rounds of 79 and 74 for a total score of 153 to tie for ninth place.

Dominican will return to action on Monday when they travel to the Post Eagles Invitational for a two-day tournament.
