CHARGERS GOLF COMPETE AT EAGLES INVITATIONAL

Waterbury, Conn. (10/11/22) The Dominican University New York mens's golf team finished in eight place at the Eagles Invitational held yesterday and today at the Watertown Golf Club and hosted by Post University.

Waterbury, Conn. (10/11/22)  The Dominican University New York mens's golf team finished in eight place at the Eagles Invitational held yesterday and today at the Watertown Golf Club and hosted by Post University.

Alejandro Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) was the high finisher for the Chargers as he took fifth place.  He posted scores of 73, 72 and 69 to finish with a total score of 214 (+1).  One the first hole, Cervantes recorded a eagles as he completed the hole in three shots.  He also recorded three birdies in the final round.

This tournament wraps up the fall portion of the 22-23 season for the Chargers golf squad.  The team will return to action in the spring.
