CHARGERS FINISH FIFTH AT SPARTAN SHOOTOUT

Thiells, N.Y. (4/7/23) The Dominican University New York men's golf team took fifth place at the Spartan Shootout held at Phillip J. Rotella Golf Course golf course and hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Junior Alejandro Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) was the high finisher for the Chargers as he tied for second place overall with a combined score of 148.  In round one, Cerantes shot for par with a 72 and finished round two with a score of 76 (+4).

Alexander Lundvall (Stockholm, Sweden) tied for eighth place with rounds of 78 and 72 for a 150 (+6) total score.
