MEN'S GOLF RETURNS TO ACTION FOR ROUND TWO AT NCAA ATLANTIC/EAST SUPER REGIONAL

Lebanon, Pa. (5/12/23) The Dominican University New York men's golf team is in a tie for 16th place following round two action at the 2023 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Men's Golf Super Regional being played at Iron Valley Golf Club and hosted by Millersville University.

Lebanon, Pa. (5/12/23) The Dominican University New York men's golf team is in a tie for 16th place following round two action at the 2023 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Men's Golf Super Regional being played at Iron Valley Golf Club and hosted by Millersville University.

In action today Dominican completed the round with a team score of 312, three strokes better than their round one score. The Chargers recorded 11 birdies during play and one eagle.

Junior Alejandro Gomez Cervantes (Torreon, Mexico) shot a 76 (+4) in round two. Cervantes had an eagle on hole three and recorded birdies on hole seven, 10 and 13 to sit in 21st place.

Brikke Decoster (Lebbeke, Belgium) had back-to-back birdies on holes six and seven en route to finishing the round with a 78 (+6) to be in a tie for 60th place.

Junior Nicolas Arrieta-Guerra (Bucaramanga, Colombia) is tied for 67th place following round two with a score of 79 (+7). Arrieta-Guerra tallied three birdies on the day on holes two, six and 14.

Alexander Lundvall (Stockholm, Sweden) recorded two birdies on hole three and 16 to finish the round with a 79 (+7) and be in a tie for 92nd place.

Freshman Charles Thomas (Salt Lake City, Utah) is currently in a tie for 105th place following a day two score of 90 (+13). Thomas had a birdie on hole 16.

The Chargers will complete play in the Atlantic/East Regional tomorrow morning.
