Orangeburg, N.Y. (12/11/17) The Dominican College men's basketball team has moved back up to the sixth spot in this week's D2SIDA East Region Media Poll as was announced today.

The Chargers sported a 2-0 record last week with victories over Concordia College and Nyack College to move up one spot in the rankings.  DC previously held the sixth spot in week three's rankings.  The team is currently 7-1 on the season, with the lone loss to #5 Bloomfield College.

Dominican is one of two teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in the standings, along with #5 Bloomfield College.

The top spot in this week's poll belongs to the University of Bridgeport, followed by a two-way tie for second place by St. Thomas Aquinas College and Southern New Hampshire University.  Le Moyne College sits in fourth place.

This week the Chargers will host Southern Connecticut State University.

The D2SIDA poll is administered and voted upon by Division II members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
