Orangeburg, N.Y. (1/23/18) Dominican College men's basketball player, TyJon GIlmore, has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 21st as was announced today.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (1/23/18) Dominican College men's basketball player, TyJon Gilmore, has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 21st as was announced today.

Gilmore, a freshman guard from Watervliet, N.Y.,  played a big role off the bench in Dominican College's 76-72 victory over Georgian Court University this past weekend. In 22 minutes of action, Gilmore was 8-for-12 shooting overall and 3-for-5 from the charity stripe for 16 points. He also picked up two rebounds, and four steals.

This is his first ECAC Weekly honors this season.
