Orangeburg, N.Y. (1/27/18) The visiting rams of Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) defeated the Dominican College men's basketball team, 89-77, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on Coach Baxter Court in the 30th Annual Bobby Mulligan Memorial Game.

With the loss Dominican now stands at 14-6 overall and 8-3 in the conference play, while the Rams improve to 14-9 overall and 9-3 in the CACC.

Guard Daniel Grant (Middletown, N.Y.) paced three Chargers in double figures with 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Eastern Conference Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Week, TyJon Gilmore (Watervliet, N.Y.) added 16 points.

Sayon Charles (Staten Island, N.Y.) had 14 points and four rebounds.

Prior to the start of the contest, Ethan Smith, Jr., was presented the Annual Bobby Mulligan Memorial Scholarship in a ceremony.

Dominican will travel to Felician University this coming Tuesday (January 30th) in CACC North Division action.
