Bloomfield College and Goldey-Beacom College each earned the No. 1 seed in the North and South Division, respectively.

New Haven, Conn. (2/24/18)  The field is officially set for the 2017-18 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball Championship, following the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday afternoon. Bloomfield College and Goldey-Beacom College each earned the No. 1 seed in the North and South Division, respectively.

Bloomfield is the No. 1 overall seed for the tournament due to its 95-88 win over G-B in the squads' regular season meeting back on Jan. 13. The Bears finished with a 17-2 mark in conference play during the regular season, but did falter on the final day of the league schedule as they fell to rival Caldwell University 77-75. Bloomfield, though, enters this year's tournament as the defending league champion, as it will look to make it two in a row this March.

Goldey-Beacom claimed the CACC South Division Championship with a 15-4 conference record. The Lightning capped its regular season with a satisfying 79-71 win over crosstown-rival Wilmington University on Saturday. In fact, the Lightning concluded regular season play with back-to-back wins over the second and third place teams from the South. G-B knocked off Jefferson (2nd) on Wednesday, followed by this afternoon's win over Wilmington (3rd).

The tournament tips off with the first round on Tuesday at the site of the highest seeds. Tuesday's four winners will advance to the semifinals next Saturday, followed by the championship final on Sunday. The semis and final will be staged at the Gallagher Center on the Jefferson campus in Philadelphia, Pa.
