HARGRAVES NAMED TO CACC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/25/19) Dominican College men's basketball player, Koree Hargraves, has been named to the 2018-19 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 16 honorees represent 10 of the 14 schools in the conference that compete in the sport at the varsity level.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/25/19) Dominican College men's basketball player, Koree Hargraves, has been named to the 2018-19 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 16 honorees represent 10 of the 14 schools in the conference that compete in the sport at the varsity level.
This is Hargraves first selection to the CACC All-Academic Team. The senior guard from Teaneck, N.J., boasts a GPA of 3.52 and is majoring in Financial Management.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution; and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
Jefferson and University of the Sciences led the way with three honorees apiece on the academic team. USciences' top mark was Michael Fox's 3.97 cumulative grade point average in his major of pharmacy. He is a three-time honoree. Jefferson's top mark came from two-time honoree Josh Bradanese and his GPA of 3.56 in his major of business management.
Fox was one of three student-athletes on the academic team who had GPAs of 3.90 or better, as the other two included Caldwell University's Daan Vianen (3.92, psychology) and Jose Perez Ramos (3.91, financial economics).
Six of the 16 honorees on this year's squad were named to the CACC All-Academic Team for at least the second time in their respective careers.
