The win lifts the Eagles to 18-7 overall and 14-1 in conference play, while the Chargers fall to 17-6 overall and 10-5 in the CACC.
Jalen Burgess (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) led the team with 15 points, 13 rebounds and three assists.
Junior Justin Copman (Cumberland, Md.) also recorded a double-double of 13 points and 12 boards, while Joshua Serrano (Amityville, N.Y.) came off the bench to score 13 points.
Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) tallied 11 points in reserve and Daniel Grant (Middletown, N.Y.) netted 10 points and five assists in the loss.
Post was led by D.J. Frechette with a game high 20 points, while Devonte Mccall had the double-double of 16 points and 11 caroms.
The Eagles led by as many as 14 points (25-11) when Dominican charged back with a 16-6 run to cut the deficit to 29-27 and a trey from Brandt Roundtree (Plainfield, N.J.) closed out the first half scoring and pulled DC within three points, 40-37.
Dominican began the second half on a 13-2 run, capped off by a three-point basket from Burgess, to pull ahead 50-42 with 14:34 left in regulation. A Copman layup gave the Chargers a 67-61 lead with just over five minutes to play. Post outscored the Chargers 14-4 over the last five minutes to come away with the 75-71 win.
DC returns to action on Monday night when they travel to Bloomfield College.
