DOMINICAN'S PETERSON NAMED TO COSIDA/ESPN ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAM
Orangeburg, NY (5/20/10) Dominican College men's lacrosse player, Jesse Paterson, has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Men's At-Large Second Team as was announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Orangeburg, NY (5/20/10) Dominican College men's lacrosse player, Jesse Paterson, has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Men's At-Large Second Team as was announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Peterson, a junior midfielder from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, was one of this year's team captains and the recipient of the Dominican College Top Junior Male Scholar-Athlete Award for having a cumulative GPA of 3.95 as a biology major.
He played in all 16 games this season and recorded 19 goals and 18 assists for 37 total points on the season. Peterson finished third on the team in scoring and led the team in assists this season.
