PETERSON NAMED TO CAPITAL ONE ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT MEN'S AT-LARGE TEAM

Orangeburg, NY (5/20/11) Dominican College men's lacrosse player, Jesse Peterson, has been named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District Men's At-Large First Team. First team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.

Orangeburg, NY (5/20/11)  Dominican College men's lacrosse player, Jesse Peterson, has been named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District Men's At-Large First Team.  First team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.

Peterson, a senior midfielder from Sasktaoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, makes his second apperance on the Capital One Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team as he was named to the Second Team in 2010.  This season he led the team in assists and was second on the team in goals and points this season.  He has been a two-year team captain and will leave the Chargers in second place in All-Time Assists and All-Time Points.
