Wantagh, N.Y. (2/24/18) The Lincoln Memorial University men's lacrosse team defeated the Dominican College Chargers, 17-4, this afternoon in a non-conference game played at Wantagh High School.

With the win, LMU improves to 4-1 overall while Dominican is now 0-1 on the season.

Sophomore attacker Michael Reyes (East Meadow, N.Y.) led Dominican with two goals.

Freshman Lorcan Teahan (Sparkill, N.Y.) scored his first collegiate goal, while Ryan Wiberly (Setauket, N.Y.) netted his first goal this season.

Marcos Pierce (Middleburg, Va.) and Christian Hernandez (Farmingdale, N.Y.) each had an assist.

Starting goalie Matthew Sandelier (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) made seven saves in 42:31, while Joseph Fabiilli (Glen Head, N.Y.) made four saves in the final 17:29.

The Chargers will travel to Palm Beach Atlantic University this coming Monday evening.
