MEN'S LACROSSE VICTORIOUS ON SENIOR NIGHT

Hillburn, N.Y. (4/21/18) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team was victorious on Senior Night as they handed Felician University a 19-6 setback in both teams Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) finale in a game played at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.

The Charger lacrosse team was victorious on Senior Night as they defeated Felician University.

Hillburn, N.Y. (4/21/18) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team was victorious on Senior Night as they handed Felician University a 19-6 setback in both teams Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) finale in a game played at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.

Prior to the start of the contest, the team honored seniors: #6 Evan Heegan, #19 Andrew Larrea, #20 Kevin Mayer, #28 Ryan Wiberly, #29  Chris Heegan, #37 Phil Shields and #45 Matthew Sandelier.

Dominican recorded the first two goals of the season and added six more in the second quarter to take an 8-2 lead into the locker room at the intermission.  Five more goals in the third quarter and six more in the final quarter led to the 19-6 final.

Sophomore attacker Nick D'Alessandro (Levittown, N.Y.) had a game leading six goals and one assist in the win.  Michael Reyes (East Meadow, N.Y.) contributed five goals and one assist.  E. Heegan and Wiberly each netted two goals and combined for seven assists (Wiberly-4, E. Heegan-3).

Marcos Pierce (Middleburg, Va.), C. Heegan and Mayer all scored a goal in the win.

Sandelier made 11 saves in the contest.

The Chargers end the season with an overall record of 3-11 and a CACC record of 2-3.
