SOUZA NAMED TO THE 2018 GOOGLE CLOUD ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA® DIVISION II MEN’S AT-LARGE SECOND TEAM
Orangeburg, N.Y. (6/14/18) Dominican College men's lacrosse player, Kyle Souza, has been named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America® DIVISION II Men's At-Large Second Team as was selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and released yesterday.

This is Souza's first Academic All-America® honors.
The junior who hails from Startford, Conn. was previously named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's At-Large First Team which qualified him to move on as a candidate for All-America® accolades. Souza maintains a 3.97 grade-point average and is studying Criminal Justice. He was named the Dominican College Top Junior Male Scholar-Athlete and was also named to the CACC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team.
He ranked 18th in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in caused turnovers and was one of this year's team captains. The three-year starter was named to the All-CACC First Team and the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) First Team.
For his career, Souza has been named the Dominican College Top Freshman and Sophomore Male Scholar-Athlete and was inducted into Dominican College New York Sigma Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma in 2017. Dominican competed in the East Coast Conference (ECC) in the sport in 2016 and 2017 and Souza was named to the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll both years.
