Pleasantville, N.Y. (2/23/19) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team opened up the 2019 season with a non-conference road game at Pace University where the Setters came away with the 23-11 victory.

With the loss, Dominican is now 0-1 on the season.

Junior Ryan Fischer (Monroe, N.Y.) had a team high four goals for the Chargers and added one assist.

Lorcan Teahan (Sparkill, N.Y.) and Luke Martini (Abington, Mass.) each scored two goals, while Marcos Pierce (Middleburg, Va.), Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and Nicholas D'Alessandro (Levittown, N.Y.) all netted a goal in the loss.

Goalie John Rooney (Bellmore, N.Y.) made a career high 15 saves.

The Chargers return to action on Tuesday when they travel to American International College in a non-conference contest scheduled to begin at 5pm.
