Pleasantville, N.J. (2/22/20) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team fell in their season opener to Pace University by a score of 19-4.

The Chargers fall to 0-1 on the season and the Setters earn their first win of the season in their home opener.

Marcos Peirce (Middleburg, Va.) scored two goals and recorded an assist for the Chargers and recorded four shots. William Gordon (Amityville, N.Y.) added a goal while Angel Rosario (Staten Island, N.Y.) also added a goal. Luke Martini (Abington, Mass.) led the team in shots with eight.

Alan Singleton, Jake Veres, and Bruno Surace each scored three goals. Singleton and Veres each added two assists. Adam Story, Tim Cairo, Terrance Day, and Joseph Diggle all scored two goals for Pace. Patrick Mulcahy contributed one goal.

Anthony Caputo and Joseph Diggle both led the team in assists with three.

The Chargers will look to bounce back when they host American International College on Tuesday, February 25th for their home opener at 4:00 PM.
