Lafayette Hill, Pa. (4/6/22) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team had their four game winning streak snapped tonight by Chestnut Hill College, 10-4, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played on Victory Field #1.

With the loss Dominican is now 5-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

Cole Vencak (Smithtown, N.Y.) got the Chargers on the board in the third quarter off the dish from James Conklin (Warwick, N.Y.) to make the score 6-1.  Midfielder William Gordon (Amityville, N.Y.) tallied a man-up goal with 3:42 left in the quarter with the assist going to Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) to cut the deficit to 6-2.

CHC opened up the final quarter with three consecutive goals, but the Chargers closed out the game on a 2-0 spurt with Terence O'Loughlin (Nanuet, N.Y.) and Eric Grenwood (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) recording goals.

Goalkeeper Patrick Gifford (Galloway, N.J.) had 16 saves in the loss.

DC returns to action on Saturday night when they host Wilmington University at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
