Lakeland, Fla. (3/4/23) The Dominican University New York men's lacrosse team fell to Florida Southern College this afternoon in non-conference action in Lakeland, Fla.
The Chargers fall to 0-4 overall on the season after the loss.
FSC opened the game with seven first quarter goals and then added six goals in the second quarter for the 13-1 lead at halftime.
Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) scored the only first half goal for the Chargers and Blake Hendricks (Goshen, N.Y.) recorded the assist on the goal.
FSC added five goals in the third quarter and seven goals in the fourth quarter on their way to the 25-4 victory.
Carson finished the game with two goals and one assist for the Chargers. William Gordon (Amityville, N.Y.) added one goal and one assist. Jason Allen (Middletown, N.J.) added one goal.
Florida Southern was led by Sean Nolan who scored five goals and added one assist. Ryan Gorecki added four goals and one assist. Jay Minor recorded a team-high three assists.
The Chargers return home next Wednesday, March 8th when they host American International College at 4:00 PM.
