CARSON AND BARKER NAMED TO ALL-CACC MEN'S LACROSSE SECOND TEAM

New Haven, Conn. (5/1/23) Wilmington University junior midfielder T.J. Caton has been named the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Year, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced on Monday. Caton, who was also voted onto the All-CACC First Team, earned the honors via a vote of the league’s eight head coaches in the sport.

New Haven, Conn. (5/1/23) Wilmington University junior midfielder T.J. Caton has been named the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced on Monday. Caton, who was also voted onto the All-CACC First Team, earned the honors via a vote of the league's eight head coaches in the sport.

Dominican University New York had two players earn All-CACC Second Team honors as Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) earns his second All-CACC Second Team honors and Brian Barker (Wyckoff, N.J.) makes his first appearance on the All-CACC Second Team.

Carson currently sits second in the conference in assists and eighth in points.  He is leads the team in assists and points, while sitting fourth in goals.

Barker leads the Chargers in caused turnovers and is second in ground balls.  He is ninth in the CACC in caused turnovers and 18th in ground balls.

The league's coaches also voted on the All-CACC First and Second Teams, which are listed below. Chestnut Hill, Georgian Court and Wilmington each received seven overall selections.

The CACC Championship tournament begins today when No. 5 seed Dominican University New York travels to No. 4 seed Post for a 2 p.m. faceoff. Post will also host the semifinals and finals on Friday and Sunday, respectively, on its Waterbury, Conn., campus.
