Lowell, MA (10/25/11) The University of Massachusetts-Lowell men's soccer team snapped the Dominican College men's soccer four-game winning streak after defeating the Chargers, 1-0 in overtime this evening in a non-conference game played on Cushing Field. With the loss, Dominican falls to 8-5-3 overall, while the River Hawks improve to 9-6.

Lowell, MA (10/25/11)  The University of Massachusetts-Lowell men's soccer team snapped the Dominican College men's soccer four-game winning streak after defeating the Chargers, 1-0 in overtime this evening in a non-conference game played on Cushing Field.  With the loss, Dominican falls to 8-5-3 overall, while the River Hawks improve to 9-6.

The game winning goal for the River Hawks came in the 92nd minute of action.

The Chargers outshot the River Hawks, 16-10, while UMASS-Lowell held an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Dominican keeper Brandon Heembrock* (Ottawa, Canada) made four saves in the loss.

DC returns to action on Friday in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) season finale as they host, Post University, in a 3:30 pm game on the DC Soccer Field.
