NARRO LEADS MEN'S SOCCER OVER QUEENS COLLEGE

(10/8/12) Junior midfielder Sony Narro (Stamford, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal and his team leading 6th goal of the season in the 102 minute to lead the Dominican College men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over non-conference opponent, Queens College, this afternoon in a game played at the DC Soccer Field.

Junior forward Jorge Zubillaga (Punte del Este, Uruguay) gave the Chargers a 1-0 lead at the 19:46 mark as he conveted a penalty kick opportunity.
The Knights tied the game in the 75th minute to make the score 1-1 and force the overtimes.
In the second overtime, Narro took a shot from 25 yards out which found the back of the net at the 102:59 mark for the 2-1 victory.
Charger goalie Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) had seven saves in the victory.
Dominican outshot the Knights 19-12 and held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
With the victory Dominican improves to 7-2-1 overall.
DC is back in action on Wednesday as they host Le Moyne College in a non-conference game to be played at the DC Soccer Field.
