Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/21/12)  The Dominican College men's soccer team improves to 9-3-1 overall and 7-2 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after defeating the visiting Griffins of Chestnut Hill College, 3-0, this afternoon in a game played at the DC Soccer Field.

Junior forward Jorge Zubillaga (Punte del Este, Uruguay) gave Dominican a 1-0 lead at the 20:52 mark on a shot from eight yards out after a pass from Sony Narro (Stamford, Conn.).

Narro later followed in the 50th minute of action with his team leading eighth goal of the season on a corner kick shot to give the team a 2-0 lead.

Midfielder Christopher Walsh (Baldwin, N.Y.) tallied the last goal of the game at the 77:54 mark with the assist from Dennis Kcira (New City, N.Y.)

Keeper Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) had four saves in the victory.

The Chargers outshot the Griffins 13-7 and held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Dominican returns to action on Tuesday as they host University of Massachusetts-Lowell in a non-conference game to be played at the OMM Complex.
