The Chargers dropped their third straight game of the season 2-0 as they traveled to Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday. The chargers are now 0-3 (0-0 CACC) on the young season and have yet to score a goal. The Charger offense only managed to fire six shots at Franklin Pierce goalkeeper Jadel Poon-Lewis who recorded four saves in the game. Charger goalkeeper Joshua Stephens (Stony Creek, Ontario) recorded six saves in the third game of his freshman season.
Rickyle Balea (Brisbane, Australia) was the only Charger to take multiple shots in the game and one was stopped by the Raven's Poon-Lewis. The Ravens took 19 shots total at the first year goalkeeper and nine were recorded on goal for the Raven offense. Freshman forward Yannik Felber was a one man wrecking crew for the Ravens as he recorded the most shots in the game with a total of eight. Four of Felber's shots were recorded on goal and two got passed Stephens for the only tallies the Ravens needed for the win. Both goals were only 23 seconds apart from eachother at the 55:04 mark and 55:27 mark of the game. With the win, the Ravens improve to 2-0 (0-0 NE-10) and will be back in action when they visit Le Moyne College on Tuesday September 12th. The Chargers will continue their season when they host Georgian Court University on Saturday September 9th. The Chargers will look to bounce back when they open their home portion and conference portion of their schedule on Saturday.
