MEN'S SOCCER ENDS SEASON WITH A LOSS TO MAVERICKS
Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/25/17) The Dominican College men's soccer team ended the 2017 season with a 4-1 loss to the visiting Mavericks of Mercy College in a non-conference game played this afternoon.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/25/17) The Dominican College men's soccer team ended the 2017 season with a 4-1 loss to the visiting Mavericks of Mercy College in a non-conference game played this afternoon.
With the win Mercy improves to 12-4 while the Chargers end the season with an overall record of 3-14.
The Mavericks struck first in the 42nd minute on a goal by Danny Gavin to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
MC added back-to-back goals in the 66th and 68th minute to increase their lead to 3-0, but sophomore Sergio Monton (Madrid, Spain) got the Chargers on the scoreboard at 75:15 on an indirect kick.
Mercy added a goal off a corner kick just about two minutes later for the 4-1 win.
Charger keeper Matthew Snow (Greenville, N.Y.) made three saves in the first half, while Joshua Stephens (Stony Creek, Ontario) had one save in the final 45 minutes.
