CLIPPERS SCORE TWICE IN THE SECOND HALF TO BEAT DOMINICAN 3-0

The Chargers drop their season record to 2-4 (2-2 CACC) with the loss. The Clippers improved their record to 2-3-1 (2-2 CACC) after the shutout win.
The Chargers took 11 shots in the game and two were recorded on goal and saved by the Clippers goalkeeper Mario Lamacchia. Lamachia recorded one save in the first half and one in the second half to help keep the Chargers off the board.
Tyler Doll (St. Louis, Mo.) was the starting goalkeeper for the Chargers. Doll recorded four saves in the loss. All four saves for Doll were made in the second half.
The Clippers took 16 shots in the game and seven were recorded on goal. Dennis Limani and Marlon Buck took four shots in the game to lead the team. Limani finished the game with two assists. Chris Panzenbeck assisted the first goal for the Clippers.
Marlon Buck gave the Clippers an early 1-0 lead at the 4:11 mark of the first half. The game remained 1-0 for the remainder of the first half.
Freddy Nava, scored the second goal for the Clippers at the 53:22 mark for a 2-0 lead. Marlon Buck scored his second goal of the game at 60:42 for the 3-0 lead. The Clippers held the 3-0 lead the rest of the way to secure the win over DC. The Clippers controlled the second half by taking 14 shots as a team.
Dominican will look to bounce back on Saturday, September 22nd when they visit Georgian Court University for CACC conference game with the Lions at 2:30 PM.
