MEN'S SOCCER HONOR MARTINEZ IN FINAL MATCH OF COLLEGIATE CAREER
Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/26/18) The Dominican College men's soccer team honored senior #28 Alejandro Martinez (Frisco, Texas) this afternoon as he played in his final collegiate match against Queens College on the DC Soccer Field. The Knights topped the Chargers, 1-0, in the non-conference contest.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/26/18) The Dominican College men's soccer team honored senior #28 Alejandro Martinez (Frisco, Texas) this afternoon as he played in his final collegiate match against Queens College on the DC Soccer Field. The Knights topped the Chargers, 1-0, in the non-conference contest.
The game was scoreless through the first 42 minutes of play when the Knights got on the scoreboard with a shot from inside the box at the 43:56 mark for the lone goal of the match.
Dominican held the 15-13 edge in shots and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Sophomore midfielder Lester Gudiel (Stamford, Conn.) had five shots (four on goal) in the contest.
Keeper Joshua Stephens (Stony Creek, Ontario) made four saves in the loss.
The Chargers end the season with an overall record of 6-12.
